Ahern Rentals Aids Anti-Graffiti Efforts

LAS VEGAS —Ahern Rentals’ Gardnerville, Nev., branch, has joined the Douglas County (Nev.) Sheriff’s office in offering a free graffiti abatement program to help victims of unwanted graffiti clean up the damage. Ahern Rentals will donate paint, spray paint, rollers and brushes to help law enforcement’s efforts.

Ahern Rentals, which has had equipment spray-painted with graffiti, uses a special equipment wax that is partially resistant to spray paint.

Douglas County is close to Lake Tahoe, Reno and Carson City, cities where gang activity and graffiti use has increased in recent years.
