Australia’s United Forklift and Access Solutions Reach 5,000th Machine Order Milestone
Aerial manufacturer Haulotte and Australia’s United Forklift and Access Solutions are celebrating the milestone of UFAS ordering its 5,000th machine from Haulotte continuing the partnership that began in 2012. Haulotte said in a press release that United Forklift joins the ranks of only a few other retailers worldwide to reach that milestone for Haulotte.
Haulotte’s Asia Pacific managing director Damien Gautier recently visited Perth, Australia, and took the time to congratulate United on the achievement.
“United are one of our top customers around the world and a true partner for Australia,” Gautier said. “Their feedback about the Australian market and support is critical to our success in the Asia Pacific region.”
For United, this milestone is a celebration of its journey from a small West Australia-based business to one of Australia’s largest forklift and access equipment providers.
“When I started, we were a small Western Australian business with two branches and only 20 employees,” said United’s managing director David Maxwell. “Now we have 11 locations across Australia and one of the largest rental fleets in Australia supported by 455 employees. The first machine we ordered was an HA120PX, which was a basic machine compared to the advanced versions available today. It was great to see that the Compact 10DX was our 5000th machine ordered. This machine is a true workhorse of the industry, with its 4WD capabilities and robust design.”
United Forklift sees the benefit of a relationship based on open communication and feedback.
“We’ve had numerous instances where we’ve collaborated with Haulotte, providing feedback on their products, suggesting improvements or adjustments tailored to the Australian market,” said Maxwell. “Haulotte consistently takes this feedback seriously, incorporating it into their manufacturing process to deliver well-designed solutions that meet our needs. Our philosophy is having quality product with quality people, so together with Haulotte we are continuing to aim for this every day.”
