Australia’s Kennards Hire Grows in Western Australia with Acquisition of Redi Hire Solutions
Family-owned Australian equipment hire company, Kennards Hire, has acquired Redi Hire Solutions, a successful rental business in Geraldton, bringing its Western Australian branch network to 22.
Building on a strong existing presence in Australia’s most western state, the 6,000-square-meter site is north of Kennards Hire’s existing Joondalup branch, helping to strategically bridge the network in the midwest between Perth and Pilbara. Equipped with a full range of rental equipment including earthmoving, lifting, landscaping, and general hire equipment to help support local mining and farming industry, construction and DIYers.
Geraldton’s new branch manager Dylan Moebius, said, “Kennards Hire is excited to be expanding its regional network in Western Australia. Having recently celebrated 21 years last year since we opened our first branch in WA, we continue to see great opportunities for growth and the Redi Hire Solutions acquisition increases our footprint in a growing market.”
Moerbus has worked in the hire industry for 12 years, and previously held the role of branch manager at Kennards Hire, Port Hedland. He worked his way up from casual sales person driver at the age of 19 starting off at the Balcatta branch, a suburb of Perth.
He is excited to bring his experience to the area and continue the hire legacy grown in Geraldton by the husband-and-wife team, Leslie and Fiona Panting, who are now retiring. Fiona's brothers, Mark and David Stewart , are continuing their family tradition and have joined the Kennards Hire team alongside all other employees at the Geraldton branch.
