Cummins’ Centum S17 Series Gensets Scores Silver Award from Consulting Specifying Engineer
Cummins Inc. has been awarded the Silver award in Consulting Specifying Engineer’s (CSE) 2026 Product of the Year program for the Centum S17 Series generator sets (600–1000 kW, 60 Hz) in the Power category. The recognition builds on Cummins’ continued success in the program, following a Gold award in 2025 and 2023 for the broader Centum portfolio.
Developed to address evolving customer requirements, the Centum S17 Series advances power generation by delivering up to 1000 kW from a 17-liter engine platform. Combining high output with a compact, integration ready design. The generators are engineered to support infrastructure where both space optimization and dependable performance are critical, including applications such as healthcare facilities, where power continuity is essential.
