Richard Simons Named SVP – Aftermarket Parts Sales for Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America

Simons has 30 years of experience in the commercial transportation industry, and has held senior parts, service and remarketing positions with leading original equipment manufacturers.

The Volvo Group announced that effective June 30, Richard Simons has been named senior vice president – aftermarket parts sales for Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks.  Simons has 30 years of experience in the commercial transportation industry, and has held senior parts, service and remarketing positions with leading original equipment manufacturers.

A native of Indianapolis, Simons earned a B.S. degree in Engineering Management from Purdue University.  He will be based in Greensboro, N.C.
