Volvo CE President Weissburg to Become President of Mack Trucks in June

Martin Weissburg, president of Volvo Construction Equipment since 2014, will become president of Mack Trucks, effective June 1, 2018. Weissburg will continue to be a Volvo Group executive vice president and a member of the executive board.

Martin Weissburg, president of Volvo Construction Equipment since 2014, will become president of Mack Trucks, effective June 1, 2018. Weissburg will continue to be a Volvo Group executive vice president and a member of the executive board.

Weissburg joined the Volvo Group in 2005 as president of Volvo Financial Services Americas. In 2010, he became global president of Volvo Financial Services. In his new position, he will be headquartered in Greensboro, N.C.

Weissburg will succeed Dennis Slagle, who has been Mack’s top executive since 2008. Beginning June 1, Slagle will remain with the Volvo Group as special projects leader, reporting to Volvo Group president and CEO Martin Lundstedt.
