MEC Aerial Work Platforms has named Pat Schmetzer director, product training and risk management. Schmetzer comes to MEC with more than 40 years of construction and industrial equipment experience from manufacturers, dealers and rental companies.

MEC Aerial Work Platforms has named Pat Schmetzer director, product training and risk management. 

Schmetzer comes to MEC with more than 40 years of construction and industrial equipment experience from manufacturers, dealers and rental companies. He has successfully performed as a service technician and service manager; technical, safety and sales training Instructor; general manager; sales director; and rental director and is highly regarded throughout the industry for his experience.

Schmetzer’s vast product and industry knowledge elevates MEC’s efforts in defining and implementing long term customer training objectives, programs, and methods in accordance with industry best practices and customer requirements. “We are pleased to add this level of talent to the MEC team as we continue to position ourselves for additional sales growth and increasing market partnership” said MEC president David White.
