Ethan Waller has been promoted to regional vice president, East. Since joining MEC in 2024 as a national account manager, Waller has demonstrated a strong dedication to customer success, with more than 14 years of industry knowledge and a proven record in sales and service, the company said. His leadership will drive continued growth and support for partners across the Eastern U.S.
Joe Broughton has been promoted to regional vice president, west. Broughton joined MEC in 2020 as west region sales manager, bringing with him 27 years of MEWP industry expertise. His extensive background in sales leadership with major manufacturers positions him to lead MEC’s Western sales efforts with insight and precision.
Both Waller and Broughton will report to Paul Waller, vice president of sales, North America, and will oversee MEC’s territory business managers and account managers across their respective regions.
Robert Cox has been promoted to director, sales operations. Cox began at MEC in 2023 as regional business development manager, after gaining more than a decade of industry experience. He holds an MBA in Finance from Willamette University, which further strengthens his expertise in operational planning and analytics. In his new role, Cox will oversee sales administration and planning functions and will be based at MEC’s Fresno, Calif., location.
"Ethan, Joe and Rob have each contributed significantly to MEC's growth and success,” Waller said. “This organizational change will support the evolving needs of our rental company customers by focusing on account and sales operations alignment to ensure the best customer experience.”
These promotions reflect MEC’s ongoing investment in leadership excellence and operational effectiveness as the company continues to be A Better Solution in elevating performance, safety, and innovation in the industry.
