Chinese aerial equipment manufacturer Sinoboom Intelligent Equipment has named Kolin Kirschenmann CEO of Sinoboom North America. Kirschenmann held a variety of influential positions at Caterpillar during the past 30 years, including general manager of Forest Products. Sinoboom expects Kirschenmann will help it continue its growth in global business expansion.
“His arrival is a statement of intent for Sinoboom as we continue to accelerate our growth in 2020 and look to build our presence in North America,” said Susan Xu, general manager of Sinoboom. “Kolin brings terrific experience in leading initiatives and driving commercial success in the construction equipment sector. I truly believe he will help to drive our expansion strategy forward.”
In recent years, Sinoboom has grown its international market presence and now sells its mobile elevating work platforms in more than 50 countries.

Before joining Sinoboom North America, Kirschenmann worked at Caterpillar for 30 years and has experience in multiple areas.
Sinoboom was founded in February 2008, and is located in Changsha, China. It specializes in the research, manufacture, sales and service of a range of MEWPs. Its products are available across China, Southeast Asia, Australia, the Middle East, South America, North America and Europe.
