French rental company Freche Location, working with Formula 1 Grand Prix production team on the Castellet racetrack in France, chose a Z135/70 articulating boomlift to enable camera operators to film the race from a height of 43.15 meters (141 feet). The unit was chosen for its height, its 21.26 meter (69 feet, 9 inches) of maximum horizontal outreach and maximum up-and-over clearance of 23 meters (75 feet, six inches).

The unit also offers the benefits of the Genie XChassis design that combines a compact footprint with jobsite stability. Its telescopic Jib-Extend, which telescopes out from 12 to 20 feet with a vertical rotation of 110 degrees, offers the additional flexibility to access hard-to-reach areas.

For the Castellet racetrack, it was the first time hosting a Formula 1 Grand Prix in 28 years.
