IPAF Appoints Chris Wraith Technical Officer

The International Powered Access Federation this week appointed Chris Wraith as IPAF technical officer. The full-time position begins July 1, and is based at the Federation’s head office in Cumbria, United Kingdom.

The International Powered Access Federation this week appointed Chris Wraith as IPAF technical officer. The full-time position begins July 1, and is based at the Federation’s head office in Cumbria, United Kingdom.

Wraith joins IPAF from Lavendon Access Services, one of the world’s largest specialist access rental group of companies. He has been with the company for many years, most recently as UK Quality, Health, Safety and Environment manager. He is a qualified IPAF instructor, a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, and holds a degree in safety and environmental management.

“Chris brings more than 20 years of operational and managerial experience of the access industry to the post and will undoubtedly become a key member of our team,” said Tim Whiteman, IPAF CEO. “We are delighted to be able to share his experience with our members around the world.”

“I am really looking forward to becoming part of the IPAF team and building on the excellent work of Gil Male,” said Chris Wraith. “I will be working closely with everyone in the access industry to further improve the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide.”
