Hewden to Move to Trafford

U.K. rental company Hewden, recently acquired by private equity firm Sun European Partners, from previous owner Finning International, will move its head office to Trafford. Hewden’s commercial center already employs about 70 people in Trafford, located in the greater Manchester area, handling finances and administration. It will be Hewden’s second move in two years, having moved to Carnock, Straffordshire, from Lanarkshire two years ago.

Sun European Partners, a London-based adviser to U.S. firm Sun Capital Partners, paid £110 million (about U.S. $164 million) for the company, including £90.2 million in cash, a five-year £20 million loan and a 5-percent equity warrant.
