Canadian Rental Week to Promote Rental Concept Across Canada
The Canadian Rental Association (CRA) announced Canadian Rental Week 2026, taking place October 13 to 16, 2026, a national celebration recognizing the important role that equipment and event rental businesses play in communities, industries, and economies across Canada.
Using the theme "Need It? Rent It!", the week highlights how rental solutions help businesses and individuals access the equipment, tools, and event products they need while providing a smart, flexible, and cost-effective alternative to ownership.
Throughout the week, participating organizations across Canada will engage in activities designed to:
- Promote the economic, environmental, and practical benefits of renting.
- Highlight the rental industry's impact on construction, infrastructure, events, industry, and local communities.
- Strengthen relationships among rental businesses, partners, customers, and community stakeholders.
- Increase awareness of the essential services provided by Canada's equipment and event rental sectors.
Canadian Rental Week also provides an opportunity for rental businesses to showcase their expertise, connect with customers and partners, and celebrate the people who help drive the industry forward.
"As demand for flexible and sustainable solutions continues to grow, Canadian Rental Week shines a spotlight on the value that rental businesses deliver every day," said Canadian Rental Association president, Warren Carriere. "Whether supporting major construction projects, community events, or everyday needs, the rental industry helps Canadians get the job done efficiently and responsibly."
Organizations and individuals are encouraged to follow and participate in Canadian Rental Week activities throughout the week and help spread the message: Need It? Rent It!
