Skyjack division announces two new appointments – Steve De La Torre and Brian Wesley – within its North American sales team, strengthening its leadership and depth of experience as the company seizes new opportunities and strategically advances long-term goals.

De La Torre has been named territory sales manager covering the Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. De La Torre brings more than 21 years of experience in the aerial lift and material handling industry, with a key focus on business development and customer support. Working for and with rental companies across the American Southwest, De La Torre brings established relationships and rapport, and a deep understanding of rental company and contractor needs.

“Steve’s proven experience within the rental equipment and construction service industries of Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico is a real asset for customers seeking Skyjack’s reliable machines and exceptional service,” said Matt Tavianini, vice president of sales, North America, Skyjack. “I’m looking forward to Steve’s impact on Skyjack and our southwestern U.S. markets.”

“Skyjack has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer support across the Southwest,” added De La Torre. “I am eager to connect with, and strengthen relationships with, Skyjack’s partners and operators in the region and help drive continued growth.”

Brian Wesley has been appointed territory sales manager covering Louisianna, Mississippi, Alabama, and West Tennessee, as Bob Webb retires from the role. Wesley brings more than 25 years of industry experience, with an extensive career and valuable experience in the construction equipment rental industry. Wesley has been a reliable and knowledgeable presence for customers in the Louisiana and Mississippi regional markets for more than two decades.

“Brian’s experience within the regional rental markets, and with the current customer base, will prove valuable in the transition to Skyjack,” said Tavianini. “With his strong foundation built in equipment rental and customer service, Brian is a great addition to our company, which is known for reliability and innovation.”

“I am thrilled to take on the territory sales manager role with Skyjack,” said Wesley. “Bob has done a fantastic job with the Southeast markets to date, and I look forward to continuing to build upon that momentum.”

Webb started with Skyjack in 2016, following a career in the construction industry. His decade serving the Southeast with Skyjack equipment was impactful, the company said.

“We sincerely thank Bob for the passion and expertise that he brought to the organization. We at Skyjack are all wishing him and his family a happy and healthy retirement,” said Tavianini.
