A group of women leaders from Brazil’s rental equipment sector traveled to China for an industry exchange hosted by Sinoboom, highlighting global collaboration in the mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP) market.
The delegation included 30 members of Summit Rental Gestoras, a Brazil-based organization supporting women in equipment rental. The group was founded by Talita Záccaro and Helen Záccaro to advance leadership development, knowledge sharing and professional growth within the sector.
Each year, the organization hosts an annual summit focused on leadership, innovation and best practices across the rental industry. During its 2025 event, the group invited Susan Xu, CEO of Sinoboom, to present on global MEWP trends and innovation, and invited the organization for a group visit to China.
The multi-day trip began at Sinoboom Intelligent Manufacturing Park in Changsha, where attendees toured the facility, observed automated production processes and participated in equipment demonstrations.
Programming also included a Women’s Summit and Exchange of Ideas held April 14, featuring presentations from Sinoboom executives and industry representatives. Sessions focused on MEWP market developments, women’s leadership in Asia and rental market practices in China.
For rental professionals, the event provided an opportunity to compare operational approaches across regions, share expertise and build international networks as fleet strategies and equipment demand continue to globalize.
Organizers described the trip — branded “Driven by the force of the wind, without limits” — as the first all-female Brazil-China expedition in the equipment rental sector, aimed at strengthening women’s roles in the industry through cross-market collaboration.
