Sinoboom Opens Brazilian Subsidiary in the State of São Paulo
Sinoboom held a grand opening ceremony for its Brazil subsidiary at a brand-new facility in Jundiaí, in São Paulo state, marking a significant step for Sinoboom both in the South American market, and in its global activities.
More than 100 Brazilian rental company customers attended the event, with Sinoboom CEO Susan Xu and Sinoboom global sales and marketing director Dawei He both in attendance. Marcelo Yamane, business development director of the Brazil subsidiary, welcomed all guests and spoke of his confident expectations for the future development of the subsidiary.
“The South American market contains huge potential,” said Yamane. “As a leading MEWP brand, Sinoboom has already found favor with many in the rental industry in South America and enjoys high brand recognition. The establishment of this new Brazilian subsidiary will provide full life-cycle solutions and services, with a localized business approach that is tailored to Brazilian customers’ expectations, allowing us to be extremely close to, and responsive to, the local market.”
More than 20 MEWPs were on display at the event for customers to explore. Visiting the newly built offices, one client commented, “Your training area is great, this will help deliver a lot of value to the industry.”
Jundiaí is the industrial and agricultural center of São Paulo state. The facility will be responsible for complete machine sales and warehousing, after-sales service, spare parts supply, and training. The local team is composed of MEWP industry veterans with more than 15 years of experience, and the subsidiary has already taken part in such industry events as Brazil’s leasing exhibition Imersão para Locardas, and IPAF’s Latin American Summit, IPAF Elevação.
Sinoboom has been active in the South American market since 2010, recognizing it as an important emerging market in the access equipment sector, driven by demand from a growing infrastructure construction industry. Product quality, reliability and longevity, and a strong after-sales service, have won favor with South American customers, laying a solid foundation for further development, the company said.
