Carter Rental, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C. and West Virginia is preparing to open three new stores in early 2024 – in Christiansburg, Va., Suffolk, Va., and District Heights, Md. The company offers a large, well-maintained inventory of construction equipment for the construction, earthmoving, landscaping, specialty trades, paving and other customer bases, as well as aerial and power generation equipment. The company has 22 branches in the mid-Atlantic region.

“It’s an exciting time of growth as we expand our footprint to customers new and old,” said Mike Fogarty, director of business development, strategy & growth for Rental Services. “We have some very aggressive goals for rental, and the three elements to our growth strategy that will enable us to achieve them are rental fleet growth, footprint expansion, and growing our rental team member base.”

Attracting the best talent to Carter Rental is a top priority. The company is working hard to ensure it has the most effective, innovative, and compelling recruitment strategy in the industry. According to Fogarty, Carter Rental team members are “the ones who make it happen every day.” Hiring for the new locations is now taking place. Available positions include sales representatives, technicians, equipment rental coordinators, and logistics drivers. Some positions include sign-on bonuses up to $5,000, just in time for the holidays. Those interested can apply online at www.careersatcarter.com
