Rental Guys Inc., based in Chico, Calif., announced this week that it has acquired Gold-N-Green Rentals Inc. of Grass Valley, Calif.

With the acquisition of Gold-N-Green, Rental Guys Inc. now has seven locations in northern California.

“We have known Gold-N-Green Rentals for years and when the opportunity was presented to us we knew it was a perfect fit for our network of locations,” said Alex DuBose, president of Rental Guys Inc.

Gold-N-Green Rentals has been in business for more than 50 years and is the leading rental company in its trade area.

“We are very pleased to have sold our business to Alex and Rental Guys Inc.,” said John Olson, president of Gold-N-Green. “We had multiple qualified potential buyers that Fred brought to us and it was an easy decision for me. I’ve been working here for 46 years and wanted to sell it to the right group. I feel we’ve done just that. I feel good about the deal for both our customers and our employees.”

Rental Guys also purchased Gold-N-Green’s facilities and seven and a half acres. “I want to thank Fred Hageman for his efforts in handling every aspect of the transaction including the real estate,” said Olson.

The company will change its name to Rental Guys Inc. in the near future.

Fred Hageman of Rental Acquisitions, LLC represented Gold-N-Green Rentals in the transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
