Guy Rents Inc., dba Rental Guys, Acquires America Rents
Guy Rents Inc. dba Rental Guys, a Chico, Calif.-based equipment rental company, has closed a transaction to acquire the assets of Reno, Nev.-based America Rents Inc. The new locations in Reno and Carson City, Nev., will be Rental Guys’ 10th and 11th locations respectively and its first Nevada locations.
“The new locations complement our existing facilities in Northern California and will serve as a strong footprint as we enter the Northern Nevada market," said Rental Guys CEO Alex DuBose. "We will be investing significantly in new rental fleet in both locations and will re-open the currently closed Carson City facility.”
Paul and Cathie MacDonald, founders of America Rents said, “We had many offers, including some from large companies, but felt Alex and his family-owned business was the best fit for our employees.” The MacDonalds added that would like to thank their customers and employees for their loyal support over the years.
