Acme lift Names New Senior VP of National Accounts

Acme Lift Co. has promoted Chelsea Myrick Long to senior vice president of national accounts at Acme Lift Co., the world’s largest wholesale rental company specializing in the biggest boomlifts, telehandlers and portable air compressors.

“Chelsea is one of our most effective members of the Acme Lift team, and her strengths will allow her to lead our national account initiatives,” said Woody Weld, Acme Lift chairman and CEO. “The top 10 national rental companies each have unique needs and Chelsea will create responsive strategic relationships, which make Acme Lift more valuable to our largest customers.”

Long is a 16-year equipment rental industry veteran. She had been senior vice president of western operations for Acme lift since 2016. She was hired in 2014 as a rental coordinator in the company’s rental operations center, called the War Room, in Mesa, Ariz.

She began her career in 2002 as a rental coordinator for her father’s company, Diamondback Rentals & Sales. He later sold the company to the Papé Group, where Long was a senior rental department administrator until 2016. She then moved to Eugene, Ore., where she was an accounts receivable specialist for the Papé Group and rental manager for Papé Machinery in southern Oregon, and later worked for Papé Material Handling.

Acme Lift has the largest selection of large boomlifts reaching up to 185 feet, the latest 8,000- to 40,000-pound telehandlers, and large portable air compressors for re-rent at daily, weekly or monthly rates. Acme Lift is No. 51 on the RER 100.
