Point of Rental gave its second annual International Innovation Award to Brandon Rental Centers of Seffner and Riverview, Fla., at its International Conference earlier this month.

Brandon Rental Centers earned its award by tackling a common problem in any industry: Management didn’t feel like it was given enough notification about customer issues, complaints or compliments. To solve that problem, the management team developed a process for reporting in Customer Call Logs that enabled easy, consistent data entry and has resulted in increased customer satisfaction and employee recognition.

“I am very proud of our team for working together to come up with an innovative idea that is a great benefit to the company,” said general manager Dan Kozsuch. “It’s an honor to partner with a company like Point of Rental who recognizes innovation and is always working hand in hand with their customers.”

“It was an incredibly difficult decision to make this year, and a record number of entries, but we liked Brandon Rental’s simple solution to a widespread issue,” said Lauren Harris, Point of Rental’s global marketing strategist. “We had a lot of great entries; it’s been wonderful to see the many ways our customers use Point of Rental to solve issues that rental companies face.”

Brandon Rental is the second Tampa, Fla.-area rental company to earn the International Innovation Award’s top prize. The award was given to Elite Events & Rentals in 2016.

Brandon Rental opened its doors in 1973, and now has two locations covering the entire Tampa Bay, Fla., area.
