Pennsylvania-based rental company Best Line Equipment has named Adam Houseknecht its new president, according to the company’s website. His father, Michael Houseknecht, who founded the company 31 years ago, will continue as CEO.

Houseknecht gained valuable equipment industry expertise working for several years in sales and marketing at Ingersoll Rand and Bosch Rexroth. He has worked for the past 11 years in various capacities at Best Line, working in operations, general management, sales and marketing, with the intention of eventually running the family-owned business.

“Best Line Equipment is an incredible company and I am excited to continue the tradition of success,” Houseknecht said. “It’s an organization of talented and well-trained professionals who have a passion for equipment, and the customers who use it. While working to preserve a culture that believes hard work breeds success, I hope to serve by providing them the support and tools they need to achieve it.”

Houseknecht is also president of the Endurance Organization, a non-profit formed by Best Line and McCrossin Inc., to raise funds for support of veterans.

Based in West Chester, Pa., Best Line Equipment has 13 locations.
