Former Hertz, Genie, Generac Exec Hanson Named Manitou North America CEO

Manitou Group has appointed Mark Hanson regional vice president and CEO of Manitou North America, the company announced this week. Hanson has more than 28 years in the equipment rental industry, including 11 years with Hertz Equipment Rental Corp., and 11 years with Genie Industries, both in executive sales and marketing roles.

Manitou Group has appointed Mark Hanson regional vice president and CEO of Manitou North America, the company announced this week. Hanson has more than 28 years in the equipment rental industry, including 11 years with Hertz Equipment Rental Corp., and 11 years with Genie Industries, both in executive sales and marketing roles. Most recently, Hanson was vice president of sales for Generac Mobile Products for eight years where he led the North American sales and national account teams and played a major role in marketing the company’s products to rental companies.

“We are excited to welcome Mark at a time when Manitou Group is bringing many new innovative products to global markets,” said Laurent Bonnaure, executive vice president of global sales and marketing for Manitou Group. “Mark has a great team in place, and his strong leadership and industry expertise will help Manitou, Gehl and Mustang become market leaders in North America.”

Hanson holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration and marketing from California State University, Chico, as well as a master in business administration and sustainable business from Presidio Business School.

Manitou Group is headquartered in France with U.S headquarters in West Bend, Wis.
