Houston Tents & Events today announced the acquisition of Jaacked Event Rentals, expanding the company's operational footprint into West Texas and strengthening its ability to serve customers across the state. The acquisition establishes the newly formed Houston Tents & Events – West Texas Division and represents another step in the company's continued growth across Texas.
The acquisition brings Jaacked Event Rentals owners Jomar Alcala and Priscilla De Luna Alcala into the Houston Tents & Events organization while preserving the local relationships, market knowledge, and customer trust they have developed throughout West Texas. Customers will continue working with familiar local leadership while gaining access to Houston Tents & Events' extensive inventory, temporary structures, event power solutions, and full-service event rental capabilities.
Houston Tents & Events views the acquisition as another strategic step toward building a statewide event infrastructure platform capable of supporting customers across multiple Texas markets with tents, temporary structures, portable power, climate control, and event rental solutions.
"This acquisition is about people, relationships, and expanding our ability to serve customers throughout Texas," said Darren Randle, founder & CEO of Houston Tents & Events. "Jomar and Priscilla have built an outstanding reputation in West Texas through their commitment to customer service, professionalism, and community relationships. Their experience and local market knowledge make them a natural fit for our organization as we continue expanding our capabilities and operational reach."
Founded in 2019, Jaacked Event Rentals has served San Angelo, Midland-Odessa, Abilene, Lubbock, and surrounding West Texas communities. Over the last several years, the company has built a reputation for dependable service, local expertise, and strong community relationships while helping families, businesses, schools, and organizations create memorable events throughout the region. Jaacked Event Rentals is also one of the few local companies specializing in tent rentals, allowing the company to provide responsive service and specialized expertise across West Texas.
The acquisition supports several strategic objectives for Houston Tents & Events:
· Expanded operational coverage across Texas.
- Retention of experienced local leadership and operators.
- Greater support for statewide and multi-market customers.
- Increased capacity for larger and more complex projects.
- Continued investment in underserved regional event markets.
- Expanded logistics, delivery, and project capabilities throughout West Texas.
Continuity in West Texas
Customers in West Texas will continue working with familiar local leadership while gaining access to the broader resources, equipment, expertise, and operational support of Houston Tents & Events. Existing relationships remain intact while the combined organization expands its ability to support events of varying size and complexity throughout the state.
"Our greatest accomplishment has always been the relationships and connections we've built along the way," said Jomar Alcala. "We're excited for the opportunity to continue growing, take on larger and more complex projects, and combine our local relationships and experience with Houston Tents & Events' resources and expertise. We believe it is an exciting next chapter for both our team and the customers we serve."
