Stephenson’s Rental Services Acquires Riverside Rentals, Expanding Footprint into Windsor, Ontario
Stephenson’s Rental Services has acquired Riverside Rentals in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The acquisition marks an important step in strengthening Stephenson’s ability to support its expanding customer base across Southwestern Ontario, while welcoming a dedicated team of rental experts into the company.
Built on more than 70 years of proudly Canadian heritage, Stephenson’s continues to grow by investing in communities across the country. The new Windsor location will enhance the company’s ability to serve general contractors and trades with the equipment and expertise they rely on.

The Windsor branch will operate fully under the Stephenson’s Rental Services brand, giving customers access to Stephenson’s network of trusted expertise and resources.

Stephenson’s Rental Services operates locations across Ontario, Alberta, and Quebec, offering expertise in specialty divisions, including climate control, scaffolding and edge protection, temporary fencing, portable power, and safety training. Stephenson’s is No. 25 on the RER 100.
Riverside Rentals was founded in 1987 by Gene and Phil Morand, and has served contractors and trades in the Windsor-Essex region for nearly four decades. The company has grown alongside its customer base, expanding from a small operation into a modern 22,000-square-foot facility housing a comprehensive indoor rental fleet.
