GUELPH, Ontario — Linamar Corp. last month named Brad Boehler interim president for Skyjack. Since joining Skyjack in 2003, Boehler has held various strategic positions including vice president of engineering and vice president of sales and marketing.
Boehler's extensive knowledge of Skyjack's business structure makes him well positioned to spearhead an aggressive business plan of new product development and global expansion that will target expanding market potential encompassing North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Australia, the company said.
“We have launched a very aggressive product development plan that will roll out in concert with our expanding global footprint including sales offices with service and support in China, Brazil and Australia,” Boehler said.
Skyjack is realigning its global sales and services footprint strategies as well, which will allow the company to incorporate its goals across the organization. A major engineering expansion involving advanced design and development of an innovative new product offering is currently taking shape in an aggressive fashion, according to the company.
“Boehler's appointment will further stabilize Skyjack's position as it moves ahead with its global expansion strategies,” said Linamar president and chief operating officer Jim Jarrell. “Brad's leadership will include focused efforts on product quality, customer responsiveness and product offering as the industry is poised for growth.”
Headquartered in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, Skyjack is a leader in the design, manufacture and service of self-propelled aerial work platforms.
