EDCO is holding an ongoing series of educational webinars on how to do various jobs and how to use the company’s range of products. Its next webinar will be held Wednesday, April 22 from 1 p.m. to 1:50 p.m., Eastern time. The subject will be “Guide to Crete-Planer Selection and Applications” and will cover manual push crete-planers; self-propelled crete-planerts; picking the correct scarifier; picking the correct tooling choice for applications; and why these are high return/low cost to own.

The webinars are free to attend, and one can register at

EDCO staff also reports a very successful ARA show. Jason Stanczyk, EDCO’s vice president of operations, says the comfy red couches inside EDCO’s booth in Orlando were rarely used. Customers and EDCO staff members instead, he said, raced past them writing orders and sharing application advice.          At the show, EDCO debuted six new or redesigned products:

·               KL18, a new 18-in. flat saw.

·                DS20, a new 20-in. flat saw.

·                CPM8-P, a propane-powered scarifier.

·                Vac290, a redesigned silica dust capturing vacuum system.

·                BB14E electric 14-in. brick/block saw with an exclusive “breaker-saver” motor.

EDCO is also working on a battery-powered floor stripper concept, which still is in development. The product is the popular EDCO Tile Shark manufactured to run on a new battery power option. EDCO understands the equipment rental industry’s desire for battery-operated equipment and is committed to working with battery suppliers as the technology evolves.
