Spider, a division of SafeWorks LLC, recently hired John Carmichael as district sales representative for its New York City location. In this position, Carmichael is responsible for solving the suspended access and safety challenges of contractors and facility owners in the greater New York metropolitan area.
Carmichael began his career in the suspended access industry with Spider more than 30 years ago. He advanced in various sales and management roles with Safway Services and Swing Staging, establishing himself as a leading resource for helping New York contractors resolve their access needs. He holds his New York State Special Riggers License and is a certified instructor of the NYC DOB 16-Hour Suspended Scaffold Course.
“We’re thrilled to welcome John back to Spider,” said Pete Giglio, area director – East Region. “John’s extensive knowledge of the powered access industry, deep ties in the New York market, and impressive 30-year tenure in this business bring great strength to our seasoned New York team. He’ll join district sales representative Marc Frato and operations manager Joe Simone. Together they bring over 50 years of swingstage experience to our customers.
“Combined with our depth of trusted products, reliable rental equipment and solutions capabilities, we are investing to provide the safest, most productive experience for contractors working at height.”
