Godwin Pumps Opens Three Midwest Branches

BRIDGEPORT, N.J. — Godwin Pumps has opened three new branches in the Midwest — Indianapolis and Evansville, Ind., and Cincinnati.

Godwin's increased presence in the Midwest aligns with its strategy to enhance its focus on customer service by positioning itself nearer to customer locations. Godwin facilities offer rental, sales and service. The company now has 38 U.S. branches.

Similar to other Godwin branches across the United States, the new facilities will offer the Godwin product range of surface-mounted diesel Dri-Prime pumps to serve all markets, as well as Flygt's electric submersible pumps for construction and mine dewatering using the Flygt B, 2000, 2600, 2700 stainless-steel and the 5100 abrasive-resistant series.

“The opening of these three new branches in the heart of the U.S. Midwest exemplifies our commitment to our customers to bring an unequalled service support, to make available timely supply of rental pumps and related equipment, and to enhance pre- and post-sale support,” said Godwin president Michel Bakhos. “The opportunity to combine Godwin and Flygt forces at existing locations allows us to get to market faster, through pre-existing channels for both brands. Product offerings obviously complement each other, and we are eager to showcase the operational efficiencies in availability of products, parts and services.”

The alignment and expansion efforts throughout the Midwest are being spearheaded by Godwin's Midwest regional manager Bob Spinner.

Godwin and Flygt are both divisions of ITT Corp. Godwin Pumps is based in Bridgeport, N.J.
