General Equipment Co. introduces two new models of the TEMP-BUST-R Ventilation Fan Line: the 30-inch (762 mm) diameter EBF30 and the 36-inch (914.4 mm) diameter EBF36. These drum-style fans feature direct-drive, variable-speed motors and are built to withstand abuse. They also are designed with exclusive performance features for a wide variety of applications and industries, such as general construction, demolition, oil & gas, and other non-hazardous industrial work environments.

The EBF30 model is powered by a 0.5-horsepower, 115 VAC, 60 Hz electric motor and includes three fan speeds delivering between 4,200 to 6,000 CFM of output. The larger EBF36 uses a 0.4-horsepower, 115 VAC, 60 Hz three-speed electric motor and can produce between 9,200 and 11,200 CFM. Both units feature enclosures constructed of lightweight, yet heavy-duty double-walled, high-density polyethylene that are UV-resistant and corrosion-proof. Combined with aluminum blades, steel hubs and integral powder-coated steel-wire safety screens, the fans are designed for rigorous jobsites.

Both fans include the integral GripStop feature, which uses a rigid steel support bracket with poly surface grips to help keep the fan in place during operation and prevent movement on unlevel surfaces and inclines. The blade assembly is precision balanced to reduce vibration, which also decreases unintended movement in addition to minimizing sound.

TEMP-BUST-R fans offer a compact design that allows multiple fans to be stacked horizontally on a pallet for transport or storage. Seven of the model EBF30 or six of the EBF36 can be stacked on one pallet using the built-in retention straps. Four black poly feet located close to each corner of the fan face fit into recesses on the back of another fan to prevent the units from sliding when stacked. Furthermore, these retention straps/poly feet can be used to connect two same-size fans together – front to back – to increase the CFM flow rate.

TEMP-BUST-R fans are both ETL- and CE-certified. Other standard features include integral handles and large, 6-inch (152.4 mm) diameter wheels to maximize ease of mobility. Flip-N-Store storage offers a convenient, self-contained cord management solution.

In business since 1955, General Equipment Co. is a family-owned manufacturer of hole digging, surface preparation, dust collection, plus portable ventilation and air scrubbing equipment. For more information, visit www.generalequip.com. Come see it at The ARA Show in Orlando.
