Equipment Development Co. was recently honored by the Frederick County, Maryland, Chamber of Commerce with its annual Summit Award, which is given to businesses whose headquarters and websites are destinations for an increasing number of customers; whose actions generate customer loyalty; and whose positive attributes bring recognition to Frederick County, Maryland.
EDCO won the award based on its clean, efficient manufacturing facility and its high customer service standards. The awards committee also considered EDCO’s user-friendly website and new social media ventures. In addition, the Chamber noted that the company positively reflects Frederick through decaling machines and branding the company as American owned. EDCO joined the Chamber of Commerce in 1978.
