BigRentz Names Tom Belmont Chief Operating Officer to Drive Operational Excellence
BigRentz, the nation’s largest online equipment rental network, announced that Tom Belmont has been appointed chief operating officer reporting to Scott Cannon, chairman and CEO. Belmont brings more than 30 years of experience to BigRentz with areas of expertise in operations, quality, business development, strategy, integrations, and mergers and acquisitions.
Belmont will be responsible for the alignment and prioritization of company investments and ensuring operational excellence across the company. Belmont comes to BigRentz from MNX Global Logistics where he and Cannon previously worked together.

Belmont has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Legal from St. John’s University, New York.
BigRentz is an online construction equipment rental marketplace. It has 2,000 rental partners and 10,000 partner locations. BigRentz rents aerial lift equipment, forklifts and material handlers, earthmoving, compaction equipment, and site services to customers in a variety of industries. Based in Irvine, Calif., BigRentz is No. 78 on the RER 100.
