NES Close to Chapter 11 Emergence

National Equipment Services, which has been under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since June, has a hearing scheduled for later this week to present its documentation on a plan to emerge from bankruptcy protection, according to sources close to the situation. Sources in the financial community expect that the Chicago-based consolidator will be out of bankruptcy protection by early next month.
