When thousands of fans gathered in Houston for FIFA Fan Festival, there was plenty happening behind the scenes to keep the event running. Logisnext Americas helped by providing eight trucks for on-site operations and service support.

The equipment helped organizers move supplies and other materials throughout the venue as Houston welcomed soccer fans from around the world.

Logisnext also gave attendees a chance to interact with its equipment through a 10-by-10-foot activation area. The setup included two equipment displays, a remote-controlled forklift soccer game, a claw machine with prizes and branded giveaways.

“Behind every successful large-scale event is a team of people, equipment and solutions working together,” said Berry Mansfield, president of Logisnext Americas. “FIFA Fan Festival Houston was an incredible opportunity to showcase how our industry brings major moments to life. I’m proud of our employees who support events and initiatives that make a lasting impact in our community.”

A Longstanding Houston Connection

The FIFA Fan Festival was one of several ways Logisnext has supported events and organizations in Houston.

For more than 20 years, the company has provided material handling equipment to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, helping with the daily movement of equipment and supplies.

Logisnext has also invested in training and workforce development. Earlier this year, the company opened a Customer Experience Center in Houston where customers and dealers can receive hands-on training, see equipment demonstrations and explore material handling technology.

The company’s community efforts include the annual Cat Lift Trucks Scholarship. Since 2005, the program has awarded $150,000 in scholarships to 30 Greater Houston students. Logisnext also supports Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana.

Supporting the FIFA Fan Festival gave Logisnext another opportunity to put its equipment and employees to work while contributing to a major event in its Houston community.
