John Deere Doubles Service and Parts Warranties
John Deere this week announced it is doubling the warranty period for eligible John Deere Original Equipment (OE) service and repair parts from 12 to 24 months or 4,000 machine hours of coverage, whichever comes first. Effective November 1, 2026, the expanded coverage reinforces Deere's commitment to delivering quality products, greater customer choice and more value throughout the equipment ownership experience.
The enhanced warranty reflects Deere's confidence in the quality and durability of its OE parts, while providing customers added peace of mind. It also builds on Deere’s broader efforts to give customers more control over how they maintain, repair and get the most from their equipment.
“Our customers expect equipment and parts they can depend on, along with the flexibility to make decisions that are right for their operations,” said Denver Caldwell, vice president, aftermarket & customer support. “We’re continuing to invest across the aftermarket experience to deliver on that expectation, from strengthening our parts warranty to expanding parts choice and repair options, all backed by the support of our John Deere dealer network and focused on delivering greater value throughout the life of their equipment.”
Beginning November 1, eligible John Deere OE service and repair parts purchased in the United States and Canada will receive warranty coverage for 24 months or 4,000 machine hours, whichever comes first, from the purchase date.
For eligible dealer-installed parts, coverage includes parts and eligible dealer labor during the first 12 months, followed by parts-only coverage during months 13 to 24. Eligible parts installed by customers or other service providers will receive parts-only coverage.
Flexibility in parts, maintenance, repair
The expanded warranty is one of several ways John Deere is helping customers maximize the value of their equipment through greater flexibility in parts, maintenance and repair.
John Deere's parts offerings now give customers distinct options across the equipment lifecycle, including:
- John Deere REMAN: Cost-effective remanufactured components that offer an alternative to new parts.
- Essentials by John Deere: Value-focused John Deere parts fit for customers seeking a different price and product option, particularly as equipment moves later in its lifecycle.
Through its Run It Your Way initiative, Deere is also expanding access to the tools and information customers need to maintain and repair their equipment. Resources including John Deere Operations Center, Equipment Mobile, Shop.Deere.com and Operations Center PRO Service support customers whether they choose to work with their John Deere dealer, other service provider or perform repairs themselves.
Together, these investments reflect Deere's ongoing commitment to helping customers make informed decisions, manage ownership costs and get more value from their equipment on their terms.
For complete warranty terms and eligibility details, customers can contact an authorized John Deere dealer or review the applicable John Deere parts warranty statement. Parts purchased before November 1, 2026, remain subject to the warranty terms in effect at the time of purchase. John Deere REMAN warranty terms are unchanged, Turf parts increase to a 12-month warranty, and Essentials parts continue to carry a 12-month warranty. All coverage remains subject to applicable terms and exclusions.
