John Deere Introduces Transmission Assurance Program for Select Large Wheel Loaders
John Deere introduces extended transmission assurance coverage for its 844 P-Tier and 904 P-Tier Wheel Loaders. This new program provides up to five years or 15,000 hours* of coverage on eligible 844 P-Tier and 904 P-Tier models for warrantable transmission repairs.
"Customers rely on our large wheel loaders for their durability in harsh production environments,” said Katie Voelliger, product marketing manager. “This assurance program gives customers more confidence knowing that we are helping to maximize productivity and minimize downtime in the field.”
Eligible machines include 844 P-Tier and 904 P-Tier units with product identification numbers ending in 09263 or higher and purchased prior to Dec. 31, 2026.
Along with the new transmission assurance for the 844 P-Tier and 904 P-Tier, John Deere remains committed to supporting its large production-class equipment with a portfolio of assurance programs, including the 944 X-Tier and existing ADT transmission warranty offerings. * Provides 100% of the cost of warrantable transmission repairs for machines with between 0 to 10,000 hours. For machines with between 10,001 and 12,500 hours, coverage is 50% of the cost of warrantable repairs. For machines with between 12,501 and 15,000 hours, coverage is 25% of the cost of warrantable repairs.
