Manitou Names Industry Veteran Chickowski Western Region Vice President

Manitou North America has named David Chickowski western region vice president to oversee all sales activities for Manitou, Gehl, Mustang by Manitou and EDGE brands in the western United States and Canada.

Manitou North America has named David Chickowski western region vice president to oversee all sales activities for Manitou, Gehl, Mustang by Manitou and EDGE brands in the western United States and Canada. Chickowski will be focused on driving overall growth and profitability in the region by developing strategic market initiatives and strategies for the dealer network, rental customers and other market channels.

Chickowski joins Manitou North America with a diverse background in channel development, distribution, national accounts and dealer management. Most recently, as the director of business development, he led business development and strategic initiatives at Stanley Black & Decker that contributed to the launch of new products, increased sales and growth management. Prior to that Chickowski was vice president of sales for Laymor Products and spend eight years working for JLG Industries in various leadership and sales roles.

“David’s industry knowledge and leadership experience will be a tremendous asset to Manitou North America as we serve our customers in the western region,” said Mark Hanson, CEO of Manitou North America and vice president of sales and marketing for the North American region. “David’s position as our western regional vice president is a new role for Manitou North America and will be critical to our organization as we align resources to support our customers and drive their success.”

Chickowski holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Central Florida.
