Godwin Pumps, a leading manufacturer of portable rental pumps in the United States with 24 branch offices and a network of more than 100 distributors worldwide, recently expanded its global distribution network into Latin America.

As part of its continuing growth strategy, Godwin Pumps appointed Tomás Fernández as its regional manager for Latin America. With more than 13 years of experience at Ingersoll Rand in distribution development and establishing distributor channels in Latin America, Fernández has responsibility for growing Godwin’s prominence in Latin America.

“The addition of Tomás to our team represents the culmination of an exhaustive search for a leader with the experience and initiative to grow our presence through distribution channels in this exploding market,” said John Paz, Godwin president.

Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, Fernández will be available to discuss Latin American business opportunities at Godwin’s booth (C-6789) at the upcoming ConExpo/Con-Agg show next month in Las Vegas.

Headquartered in Bridgeport, N.J., Godwin Pumps maintains a fleet of more than 5,000 portable rental pumps and related equipment for use in dewatering in construction, mining and quarrying; in drinking water supply; and in wastewater bypasses in municipal, industrial and environmental markets.
