As part of its 2010 Major League Baseball season sponsorship of the Houston Astros, Generac Power Systems’ senior vice president of sales, Terry Dolan, threw out the first pitch before the Astros hosted the San Diego Padres May 7.

Additionally, local Generac dealers were at the ballpark to discuss automatic standby power solutions with homeowners. With the 2010 hurricane season expected to be a strong one, the Generac presence provided a timely opportunity for homeowners to learn how to protect their homes from the dangers and inconveniences of power outages.

Generac has more than 50 years of experience with standby power generators as the company focuses exclusively on designing and manufacturing high-quality power generators. Unfortunately, however, despite its ability to provide power, Generac has not been able to power the Astros out of last place in the National League Central.
