EquipmentShare Holds Beam-Signing Event at New Branch in Kings Park, N.Y.

The opening of this facility is expected to bring a substantial economic boost to the region, including the potential creation of 25 to 50 jobs and a projected investment range of $35 million to $70 million, including equipment, capital improvements and salaries, EquipmentShare says.

EquipmentShare.com today joined local and state officials, the Kings Park, N.Y., Chamber of Commerce, the Long Island Contractors' Association (LICA) and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, for a beam-signing celebration at its new Core Solutions branch in Kings Park.

The opening of this facility is expected to bring a substantial economic boost to the region, including the potential creation of 25 to 50 jobs and a projected investment range of $35 million to $70 million, including equipment, capital improvements and salaries, EquipmentShare says.

"We are excited to welcome EquipmentShare to Kings Park as they stand up this state-of-the-art facility," said Diane Motherway, executive director of the Kings Park Chamber of Commerce. "Our community sits at the heart of key commercial and infrastructure developments across Suffolk County. Having a technology-driven equipment leader like EquipmentShare in our backyard gives our local builders a distinct advantage while contributing to the long-term vitality of our regional economy."

As part of the event and the company's commitment to the communities it serves, EquipmentShare joined LICA and presented a joint donation of $5,000 to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The organization performs life-changing work for injured veterans, fallen first responders and their families in New York and nationwide.

"We are deeply grateful to EquipmentShare and LICA for their generous joint contribution and their dedication to supporting our nation's heroes," said Gregg Johanssen, ambassador of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and EquipmentShare safety manager. "Partnerships like this directly empower us to carry out our mission: providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children, building specially adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and providing critical wrap-around services for our military community."

First time in New York City

This new branch, situated on eight acres, is EquipmentShare's first location servicing the Long Island and New York City metro markets. The new Core Solutions facility on Long Island is built specifically to serve a community delivering major infrastructure upgrades and regional growth. Contractors across Long Island and the surrounding coastal area are currently tackling critical projects, including highway and bridge expansions, major port and harbor improvements, shoreline storm hardening and resiliency initiatives, regional water and utility modernization, renewable energy and offshore wind projects, and ongoing commercial and residential developments. These complex jobs require reliable, tech-powered machines backed by fast, local field support.

"Long Island's heavy construction and infrastructure sector is undergoing a transformative period of growth. Our members face tight deadlines and complex environmental demands every day,” said Marc Herbst, executive director of LICA. “Having EquipmentShare establish a permanent footprint in Kings Park provides contractors with immediate access to a top-tier fleet, reliable field service and advanced jobsite technology that will keep our projects moving safely, efficiently and on schedule."

Every rental asset at the Kings Park branch connects through EquipmentShare's proprietary T3 platform, giving crews real-time visibility, smart maintenance alerts, credentialed access keypads with individual PIN codes and site security features that reduce downtime and improve safety. This same powerful technology can be outfitted on machines owned by contractors, intended to give owners immediate and comprehensive insights into the health, location and utilization of their fleet.

This Kings Park branch is the third EquipmentShare location in the state of New York, where it joins an established ecosystem that includes EquipmentShare's Advanced Solutions facilities.

"Long Island is building and modernizing at an incredible pace, from critical highway expansions and coastal resiliency efforts to commercial and industrial builds across Nassau and Suffolk counties," said Matthew Mancuso, general manager of the Kings Park branch. "Our team is thrilled to stand up this location right in the heart of that activity. We are bringing next-gen fleet, T3 smart technology and rapid local field service directly to the contractors who are shaping the infrastructure and future of Long Island."

The new Long Island site advances the long-term growth strategy of EquipmentShare, which had more than 430 operating locations nationwide as of June 30, 2026, and targets 700 locations by 2030. This expansion extends the company's T3 smart-fleet technology, safety-driven security features and productivity-boosting service model to more jobsites, accelerating industry transformation one project at a time.
