MEC Aerial Work Platforms has named Matt Lyons senior national accounts manager. In this role, Matt will drive and further strengthen MEC’s partnerships with North America’s leading rental companies. Lyons comes to MEC with much experience in the lift equipment industry, most recently holding positions at manufacturers Magni Telescopic Handlers and Skyjack. Before that, Lyons worked for Time Savers, an equipment rental company.
“We are proud to bring a person of Matt’s caliber to the MEC team,” said Paul Waller, MEC’s vice president of North America Sales. “Our continued growth and expansion demand an increased level of collaboration and strategic planning with our customers. Matt’s industry knowledge, relationships, and professionalism will serve MEC and our customers very well.”
“It’s great to get back with an aerial work platform manufacturer,” said Lyons. “MEC’s scissor lifts, boom lifts, and vertical platform lifts are well-received by end-users and safety professionals and are becoming a core offering for North American rental companies. I look forward to representing these innovative, leading-edge products and the company.”
