Entrees are Open for RER’s 2018 Innovative Product Awards
Entries are now being accepted for RER’s 17th annual Innovative Product Award, which annually highlight new products in just about every product category imaginable. Entrees will be accepted through Oct. 31 for products introduced to the market between Aug. 1, 2017 and July 31, 2018.
Winners will be chosen in 16 distinct product categories, chosen by a panel of judges from the rental industry. From those 16 category winners, a Gold, Silver and Bronze winner will be chosen by the panel. The top winners will be on RER’s cover in the December 2018 issue of RER. All category winners will be profiled in RER in January or February 2019 issues of RER, and all entrees will be profiled in RER and on www.rermag.com during 2019.
Last year JCB carried home the Gold with its Teleskid; a unique machine that combines a skid-steer loader or compact track loader with a telehandler. The Silver Award went to Genie for its Genie SX-135XC Boom, with its extra capacity platform holding up to 1,000 pounds, with an extending jib with 90 feet of outreach. And the Bronze Award went to Point of Rental Software for its Inspection App, which automates the inspection, maintenance, and service processes, all from a mobile device. From off rental to ready to rent, the Inspection App tracks each step and provides insight that saves time and money.
RER eagerly awaits the entrees for the 2018 awards. Attached are the two pages for the entry form. Questions can be directed to RER editor Michael Roth at [email protected].
