Thompson Pump announced a partnership with Wagner Rents, The Cat Rental Store, making Wagner the exclusive, authorized distributor of Thompson Pump and Manufacturing Co.’s dewatering and bypass pumps, equipment and services for all of Colorado, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas.

“Pumps are a growing and very profitable segment of the industry and with Wagner looking to grow its pump business, we were thrilled to be able to partner with such a great company,” said Chris Thompson, president of Thompson Pump, a family-owned and operated, full-service manufacturer of heavy-duty, diesel-powered bypass and dewatering pumps. “Like Wagner, Thompson Pump is dedicated to quality products and unequaled support, so this partnership is a perfect fit.”

Wagner, headquartered in Aurora, Colo., is a leading dealer for selling and renting quality Cat machines used in heavy construction, building construction, mining, waste handling, paving, municipal and governmental applications, forestry, agriculture and more. Wagner Rents was one of the first equipment dealerships to fully embrace rentals and was the original prototype for the Cat Rental Store program in the 1990s.

This partnership expands Thompson Pump’s reach within the Rocky Mountain Region and beyond, while also making Wagner the preferred dealer for site and project managers looking for reliable dewatering solutions in the region. Thompson Pump’s more than 50 years of experience in manufacturing heavy-duty, portable pumps has earned the company a reputation for high-quality pumping equipment that holds up to the rigors of rental applications.

“Thompson Pump’s experience, reliability and commitment to customers make this the perfect partnership for us to expand our dewatering and bypass pump market,” said Braden Wagner, president of Wagner Equipment. “We pride ourselves on being the complete source for any size equipment or job and with these pumps we are now able to offer even more to our customers to help meet and exceed expectations.”
