City Hire, an independent U.K. tool and plant hire company supplying the construction industry, this week announced the opening of a new distribution center in Warrington, North West England. Situated between Liverpool and Manchester, this 1.8-acre site is in an ideal location to support an existing distribution center in Liverpool, as well as serving additional regions in the North West.

City Hire’s FORS Silver accredited transport team will be operating a number of vehicles from Warrington and Liverpool, supplying construction sites across Merseyside, Manchester and the North West.

City Hire officials said it will look forward to providing the City Hire service to construction sites in Manchester with guaranteed stock availability and same-day deliveries supported by this new depot.

This branch opening follows the acquisition of Construct-Equip in September, allowing the company to operate out of distribution centers in Birmingham and Telford to supply the West Midlands with fast and frictionless tool and equipment hire.

This new distribution center will be open from Monday, January 15 and marks City’s third addition in four months, bringing City Hire up to a total of six depots and helping it to establish and maintain an uninterrupted service up and down the country.

City Hire was founded in 1989. It has focused on high quality equipment, reliable service and the use of technology. It has more than 150 staff. With six distribution centers supplying London, Essex, Kent, South East, West Midlands and North West regions, it supplies a wide range of equipment for hire including plant, powered access, tools, and non-mechanical equipment.
