Sunbelt Rentals has acquired Underground Safety Equipment, a provider of trench safety and shoring equipment to contractors and municipalities from eight locations in Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.

Sunbelt Rentals has acquired Underground Safety Equipment, a provider of trench safety and shoring equipment to contractors and municipalities from eight locations in Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas and Utah. The acquisition increases Sunbelt Rentals’ specialty shoring capabilities in key markets in the United States.

    Catalyst Strategic Advisors served as exclusive transaction advisor to Underground Safety Equipment for the transaction. Catalyst Strategic Advisors specializes in merger & acquisition advisory services for the equipment rental industry.

    Underground Safety Equipment, LLC is an equipment rental company that specializes in a complete line of safety equipment used by contractors and municipalities to work safely in trenches. This equipment includes aluminum and steel trench shields, manhole shields, aluminum hydraulic trench shores, road crossing plates, pipe plugs, slide rail and build-a-box systems.

    Underground Safety Equipment is an authorized distributor for shoring equipment manufactured by some of America's leading suppliers including Efficiency Production Inc, Pro-Tec Equipment, Pacific Shoring, Cherne Pipe Plugs and many others. The product line includes steel and aluminum trench shields, aluminum hydraulic trench shores, manhole shields, build-a-box modular aluminum shields, pipe plugs, and confined space equipment.
