Luby Equipment Services Adds Industry Veteran Larry Sims to Sales Team
Luby Equipment Services, a St. Louis-based Case Construction Equipment dealer, has hired Larry Sims as sales representative.
“Larry has over 25 years of industry experience in the Metro East and has consistently shown initiative in his performance, along with delivering a first-rate customer experience,” said David Kedney, sales manager at Luby Equipment Services. “I know this same level of dedication and commitment will be applied in his new role as he leads the sales efforts in the Caseyville territory.”
Before joining Luby Equipment Services, Sims was territory manager at Richie Bros. Auctioneers for the past three years, covering southeast Illinois out of its Caseyville, Ill., location. There he was responsible for calling on potential buyers and sellers to participate in the upcoming auctions, assess customers’ needs, facilitate equipment appraisals, and provide solutions based on the entire service offerings.
Sims will be responsible for selling, leasing and renting Luby’s full line of equipment offerings, providing solutions for customers’ equipment needs, collaborating with all departments to swiftly respond to any customer requirements, and managing the entire sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.
“I am very excited to have such a strong talent added to our team and look forward to the favorable impact he will have on the sales department, company, and most importantly, on our customers,” added Kedney.
Luby Equipment Services is based in Fenton, Mo., and has seven branch locations. Luby also provides rental services as well as selling new and used equipment. In addition to Case, Luby represents Takeuchi, Doosan, Indeco, Atlas Copco, Wacker Neuson, Oshkosh, Eager Beaver Trailers and Towmaster Trailers.
