Durante Rentals continues its rapid expansion with a new rental center opening in Brooklyn, N.Y. The fully renovated and strategically located store in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, is a full-service equipment and tool rental facility offering rentals, sales, parts, service and training. The new Durante Rentals Brooklyn location is situated near the area’s major commercial and non-commercial thoroughfares such as Jackie Robinson Parkway, Jamaica Avenue, Bushwick Avenue, Eastern Parkway and Atlantic Ave.

The branch is Durante Rentals ninth location and third in New York City. Its Durante Rentals’ second location to open in the past 90 days, having opened its Danbury, Conn., store in late July. Durante Rentals also has branches in Brewster, N.Y.; The Bronx; Carmel, Elmsford, Flushing, Mt. Vernon and West Nyack, N.Y.

“We are excited, and more importantly, so are the local contractors as there aren’t many equipment and tool rental choices in this particular area of Brooklyn,” said Durante Rentals co-founder Anthony Durante. “With its central location and proximity to the city, we are now better equipped to service our large Manhattan customer base as well.”

The Brooklyn store will offer a variety of tools and equipment for construction, industrial, landscape and homebuilding applications. With one of the newest fleets in the Tri-State area, the company is well equipped with boomlifts, light towers, air compressors, forklifts, mini-excavators, generators, scissorlifts, and more. The indoor showroom features chainsaws, power cutters, safety gear, diamond blades, traffic safety products, accessories and more. The Brooklyn location will also offer sales, parts and service.

“Over the past few years, Brooklyn has seen an unprecedented renaissance that is still ongoing,” said co-founder John Durante. “This area is part of a more recent transformation and the initial feedback from the local community has been overwhelmingly positive. Many have commented that our yellow, white and black color scheme adds some much-needed color and vibrancy to the area.”

The location will also serve as a Takeuchi earthmoving equipment showroom with Durante Rentals serving as Takeuchi dealer for the five boroughs of New York plus Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties.
