IronPlanet’s LiveStream Adds New Features to Online Bidding

Online auctioneer IronPlanet announced IronPlanet LiveStream, which offers new live onsite auction features, which offers new features to online bidding. With LiveStream, bidders can place priority bids, which allows them to set the maximum price they are willng to pay, and let’s IronPlanet’s system automatically place the lowest bid amount required for them to win, up to their maximum.

Online auctioneer IronPlanet announced IronPlanet LiveStream, which offers new live onsite auction features, which offers new features to online bidding. With LiveStream, bidders can place priority bids, which allows them to set the maximum price they are willng to pay, and let’s IronPlanet’s system automatically place the lowest bid amount required for them to win, up to their maximum.

With LiveStream bidders can hear as well as view the auctioneer to enhance the live auction experience. It also enables them to set up “one-click” bidding to save valuable time in a competitive bidding situation. It also allows them to create a watch list with multiple items in order to streamline their bidding and buying experience. Bidders can also view equipment with IronPlanet’s IronClad Assurance equipment condition certification and full inspection reports.

In other IronPlanet news, the company, which recently agreed to be acquired by Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, will debut this week in Dallas-Fort Worth. Cat Auction Services, IronPlanet’s live onsite auction brand, is selling more than 320 items from leading Caterpillar dealers: Warren Cat, Louisiana Cat, Mustang Cat, PipeLine Machinery and Foley Equipment.
