Point of Rental, bidadoo Offer Equipment Auction Integration
Point of Rental Elite and Expert users can now generate requests to sell items on bidadoo through their item records, starting the asset sale process.
“This integration helps users save time and protects their fleet’s value,” said product manager John Wooten. “It’s a seamless path from rental to resale - no more juggling outside systems or worrying about missed steps.”
While the rental company is still able to mark items for sale in its software, bidadoo does the heavy lifting when it comes to selling assets. From the item record in the Elite or Expert software, a request for proposal email is generated, setting up the first step in the sales journey.
“We’re excited to join forces with Point of Rental to provide customers with easy access to our auction and remarketing services and extensive buyer network,” said Howard Hawk, president of bidadoo. “This partnership aligns with our mission to help equipment owners get the best return on their assets by making sales fast, transparent, and profitable. With our mutual experience in the growing rental industry, together, we’re streamlining the process and giving rental companies an industry-leading solution for fleet management and remarketing.”
The process also flags items in the rental company’s system to prevent any accidental renting of an item after it’s been inspected. bidadoo will handle any screening and qualification of bidders, as well as scheduling any on-site inspections based on the rental company’s schedule.
