The CSL Group of companies, which distributes Snorkel aerial lifts in Canada, is expanding into a larger building in Edmonton, Alberta, that will house its three main businesses all under the same roof. CanSource Lifts is a dedicated supplier of aerial work platforms; the group also includes CSL Transportation and CSL Safety Training.
CSL has recently supplied a range of Snorkel lifts to independent rental companies in Canada, ranging from UL25 push-around mast lifts to an SL30SL Speed Level and the A85JRT, Snorkel’s largest articulated boom.
“CSL has been doing a really great job for us, promoting Snorkel to independent, family-owned rental stores across Alberta and beyond,” said Bert Rayer, Snorkel’s western regional sales manager. “The new facility is in a prime location and will undoubtedly help them further grow Snorkel sales as the company continues to expand.”
Snorkel boomlifts played a significant role in the early stages of construction of the new facility, particularly in the steel frame erection.
“The new location will almost double the amount of CSL Parts and Services mechanic bays to 7,500 square feet, offering our customers less wait time to get customer-owned equipment repairs,” said Jim Dakin, general manager of CSL Group.
The move will also allow CSL Group to launch CSL Storage later this year, providing two acres of yard space to support the seasonal storage needs of contractors.
Founded in 1997, CSL is a family-owned company that offers the sale and rental of aerial lifts and has grown to become one of the largest aerials rental companies in Edmonton, Alberta. For more information, visit www.cslmanlifts.com.
